AQUA
Project DescriptionParticipating Researchers Published Research
The research and development project "AQUA" started in 1997 as a parallel project to the "ROLF 2010" project.

The reason to manage two parallel projects is to avoid confounding technological prospects with the development of conceptual ideas.
An advanced dynamic situation presentation device, the "Visioscope (TM)" is hosted in a interactive group environment, the "Visionarium (TM)". The laboratory was inaugurated 1998 and supports education, research and demonstration activities.

During the period the project explored staff-processes, formal meetings, plotting or assessment support, new technologies in presenting and manipulating of data, software, and communication.

During it will focus on presentation and manipulation for groups and associated applications. It will consider all gained results during earlier work.

The laboratory design has supported staff exercises since 1998. The laboratory is used for experiments in command and control. A large number of demonstrations for high ranked military officers and civilians has been performed in the laboratory.

This Aqua project has been replaced by FLC 2014. By dividing the parts in the Aquarium into its parts and made these parts rearrangeable a staff can corriograph there own interior and explore additional interaction ways to accommodate the staffs procedure. Test are in the process to be condcuted.
