Visual Interactive Language, VIL, is exploring how to extend existing visual elements like icons, symbols and other graphics so that this signifys different engagements spaces resources. As practitioner generates the instructions sets this set is injected in the modeled theater of a conflict. Through injecting the instructions set, or plan, into the simulation a dynamic, interacting and generative capability is presented. The project is focusing on developing a graphical syntax, semantic link to parsers and a pragmatic mimicked formalism models to simulate. In a sense "thoughts" has been made explicit and is simulated in a computer. Parts of visual graphics is integrated into the mono-scopic and stereo-scopic multi angular viewing device with co working situated manipulation, Mimers Well. This is using augmented and virtual reality techniques and has bean proved to enhance staff work by 20%. Each participating user has its role in the decision support environment and therefore have partial information. The collaborating users have their own data space as well as the shared data space to orient and navigate with. The partial data presentation each view presents and user can interact with in stereoscopic viewing is easier to cope with and therefor cognitively more useful. It is of great importance that expressed user representation is congruent. Congruent between logic, space and time. The co-working group and decision support environment is attached to the Networked Based Defence architecture.
Results are implemented and terminated.
